You can purchase a USB stick for $25. Just click the “Add USB stick” button when you check out to have the $25 added. Fill in the required information such as address, etc. and we will send the USB stick within 72 hours from the time of purchase.

Once you have purchased your designs, please download them immediately! The download link should remain active in the system for one week after that just in case you need to re-download them.

Once you download the files, please back them up to USB Flash drive, CD, or DVD.

Unfortunately we can’t keep the download links active forever.

I try to create the best quality designs, that is my focus. I don’t know computers as well as embroidery. I can’t run file saving format service; if you want to backup your files, Dropbox or GMAIL are good ways to do that. Those companies focus on secure file saving for long periods of time. I’m just a single embroiderer like you, I can’t do all of that myself. 🙂

What does this mean?

When you purchase your designs, they are available for immediate download. Please download them immediately and save them to flash drive, CD, DVD, or however you’d like to save them. This is the primary use of the website: the immediate download of an embroidery file to your computer’s flash drive. Technology is so cool that we can do it this way now!

However, to help people out, I try to keep access for those files for one week. Maybe you purchased them on an ipad and you want to download them tomorrow to your computer. I try to keep the download links open for a week for you to do this. As soon as you can, please download these files to your USB, CD, or DVD.

After one week, the download links may stop working. Occasionally, the system lets people keep the download link to the designs open longer than a week, a month, or sometimes even years! Server space costs us thousands of dollars per year. To keep the designs low cost, we let the server wipe these download links as it needs to reduce space. I do this company mostly for a fun side project to help people learn stitching and enjoy themselves. Unfortunately we aren’t big enough that I can do file storage. If someone is good with computers and wants to donate that capability to us, please let me know! 🙂

Again, please download your designs immediately when you purchase them, or within the first week of purchasing them. Back them up securely to a USB, or even more securely to a CD or DVD.

If you do not download your designs within a week of purchase, I cannot be responsible for getting them to you.

We cannot add files to your account from another account.

As such, I cannot add files to your account. Upon purchase, you should immediately download the embroidery design and back it up. We are not designed to run a storage backup website for designs indefinitely. Please understand this before purchasing! Download your designs immediately and save them. The website backup is complimentary to help you can be discountinued at anytime. I try hard to keep everything available for download always, but that might not always be the case in the future if server load is high.

If your email changes, please download all of your designs before you change your email! I cannot ‘update’ email addresses in the system; only you can do that. If you lose access to your old email, those designs are lost as I can’t ‘reopen’ your lost email account.

Before you change your email from the old email to the new email, you can sign into your account and in the account settings you can update your email yourself to your new email. For security, this will send a confirmation to both your old email and your new email. Both links (old email and new email) must be accepted for the transfer to happen. This limits the ability of imposters gaining access to your account. I cannot do this for you; only you can do this step before you disconnect your old email.

If you close your old email before transfering the account to your new email, the account cannot be migrated. Please convert your old email account to your new email account before the old email is deactivated! I cannot control when you deactive your email. I cannot control when you no longer have access to it. As much as I want to fix this for you, I can’t. However, you can reach out to your email service provider and ask them to reopen the email so that you can update the account. Reactivating the old email will allow you to migrate.

You cannot transfer your designs to someone else’s account. If your friend loves the designs, please have them support me as an artist so that I can keep doing this!

Download your designs to a USB flash drive, CD, or DVD immediately when you purchase. You should have up to a week to be able to download them from the link, but please don’t forget! I want everyone happily stitching new designs out. Again, the storage on the website is to help you find and download designs, however is not gaurenteed for more than 1 week.

No. Only Paypal, Stripe, and other payments accepted. We cannot offer pay by phone.

We accept credit card payments through a secure on line payment terminal, Stripe. We do not review to your CC information; Stripe does all of that for us. They are like PayPal.

You can also use your credit card with Pay Pal even if you do not have a Pay Pal account. Just process through the cart and when the payment window comes up, simply choose to pay by another method, follow the prompts to enter your card information and you are set.

We also accept Paypal accounts!

As a gentle reminder, Paypal takes about $1 from each order. If you are going to purchase multiple items, please buy them in a single purchase as it helps support me and my artwork. For smaller single purchases, most of the money goes to Paypal fees.

If you need a different format then what is offered, you can inquire as to the availability of the format you need by; emailing us at support@kreationsbykara.com before you purchase any designs. If you would like to purchase in a format we offer, process through the cart as normal and write us a note in the comments line when you check out requesting the format you want. We will get back to you regarding the availability of your requested format.

No. Personal use only unless you obtain a resale license in advance. Please contact us for details.

Yes, you can purchase designs and sell up to 50 items with any one design. If you would like to sell more than 50, please email us. You will need a special license for additional quantities. Usually the license is $1 per part sold. I want to support you, just reach out to me to finalize details together first.

We track freebie downloads as a reference tool to gauge the popularity of the design.

If you have forgotten your password you can retrieve it yourself by going to the account log in page, entering your email address, and clicking the “Lost Password” button. You will then be sent an email with your password.

Click this link, and put your email here. A new password reset will be emailed to you within ten minutes. Check your spam folder!

The first step is to verify the email and password you entered is correct. You can ask for a new password when you are signing in and a new password will be sent to you.

Please download all of your designs before you change your email address! For example, if your account was made with a @COMCAST.net email address, and you change your internet to a new company like @gmail.com I can’t log into your old Comcast email; it doesn’t exist anymore. It is impossible for me to ‘move’ these designs to a new account.

Please save and backup your designs as soon as your purchase them. Save them to USB flashdrive, CD, or DVD so that you have access to them regardless of what email account you have.

Once you have placed and completed your order, the designs will be available for immediate download. A download screen will come up as soon as the order is processed. If for some reason your download is interrupted, you will be sent a confirmation email from Kreations with a download link for your designs. You can also go to Kreations sign into your account and download the designs for up to one week after purchase. Sometimes the system will let you keep those designs in your account for longer, but please back them up immediately when purchasing.

At the very bottom of every newsletter is an 'unsubscribe' button. Please give our system some time to process your request.

I save all my files as ZIP files. A Zip file is like a folder of files that is all ‘zipped up’ and contains many other files including your design pictures, charts, the JEFF files, directions sheets, copyright information, and different sizes (if applicable). I put them all in one folder to keep everything organized (otherwise you would have to download 10-15 files for every design, WOW! Too much I think! I don’t want anyone to click 15 times to get a single design.) Download one Zip file keeps everything organized nicely, and its one click. B-)

You will have to ‘unzip’ the zip file to see the files inside of it. You will need to be on a computer to do this.

Since there are almost 10,000 designs of mine at any given time on the website right now, and each one of these has 10-15 files in it, I try hard to keep them super organized using ZIP files. 😊

If you are looking to purchase a gift card for a friend or family, we would love to help you! There are gift cards available on our site in the “gift card” tab. This is a great way to give a gift to friends and family!

Your loved one can chose to spend the gift card anytime, including during our sales to maximize the designs they get. The initial purchase of gift cards themselves is not included in the sale. For example a 50% off all designs sale does not include 50% off all gift cards.

If you need help purchasing a gift card, please reach out to us by email and we can do a direct purchase. Gift cards can be in any amount and we can mail them with a letter directly for you to your loved one.

Gift cards expire 5 years after purchase. We used to offer a ‘never expires’ gift card prior to 2018 however do not offer that service anymore. If you have one of these older cards, please reach out to us to discuss.

You may absolutely not resell designs after you purchase them. The license is only for you to use for non-commercial purposes. If you want to resell, please reach out for a resellers license in advance. If you want to sell parts using these designs, you will additionally need the permission of Kreations By Kara.

Reselling designs is stealing, illegal, and can cost you over $250,000 for copyright infringement. If you are caught reselling designs without the owners permission, you will be prosecuted.

Just shoot me an email if you have questions and we can work something out. 🙂 Don’t just start selling things without permission, that is stealing!

As of November 1, 2023 Malwarebytes has determined that ALL zip files must be blocked. This is very frustrating to our community; our ZIP files and designs have been used safely for over 10 years by over 10,000 people. I’ve called Malwarebytes about this multiple times, as have our community members, but they have not been responsive. They continue to block all ZIP files without checking them. I apologize sincerely for this!

Many of our embroidery designs start with a short acronym like SFP or FL. This acronym tells you which collection the design belongs to.

If you love one of our designs, check to see if it’s part of a larger set—you may be able to get the full collection for a better price and a matching set!

Other Common Acronyms (Techniques/Categories)

• BIN – Bulk in Numbers: Refers to the “$4 Bin” discount category on the site, where designs are offered in bulk for low prices. Designs prefixed BIN are part of this sale bin category. kreationsbykara.com
• FSL – Free Standing Lace: Indicates designs created as freestanding lace. For example, FSL Snowflakes are lace ornaments that don’t require fabric backing. FSL is used in design names to denote this style.
• ITH – In The Hoop: Refers to projects completed entirely in the hoop of an embroidery machine. ITH project names indicate that the item (e.g. toys, quilts, etc.) is made as an in-the-hoop design without additional sewing.

Each acronym above corresponds to a specific collection or design category on the website. For instance, if you see a design named “SFP Two Pumpkins,” you can look up SFP in this chart and recognize it stands for Season For Pumpkins, telling you which collection that design is from. kreationsbykara.com
